It's a Master Replicas, high build quality, very accurate, and very limited runs. The original retail value was probably several hundred dollars (I want to say around $500) and that was 10 years ago. How old is your son? I wouldn't buy a 'toy' that cost that much for any kid unless they were 28 years or older!
