Moral of the story: Never attempt to ride a bike built at Walmart without first checking to make sure everything is tight. Took it outside, started riding, turned the handle bars left and the bike kept going straight. Unpleasantness followed.
Yeah. Just a couple bumps and bruises (my ego was bruised more than anything else). Haven't ridden a bike in about twenty years so I'm expecting some of those along the way.
Bought a bra from Soma's website yesterday. Also picked up more soda and a frozen pizza for last night's dinner.
I bought my very first laptop today, a Dell Inspiron 15. I've always used a desktop PC, so I'm excited that this one has Windows 8.
I'm no SF Giants fan, but I bought one of their T-shirts today. I did this because I had it custom made with the name and number of my favorite player of all time - Dave Dravecky (a former Giant). I'll be wearing this shirt when I come to AT&T Park this summer.
I bought a cute pair of turquoise Adidas running shoes (on sale, yay!). They're a nice hybrid of a classic trainer style (which I like), and a typical running shoe (which I hate, but is unavoidably better on the feet). I am hopeful they will help motivate me to get back into running. If they don't, that's okay too because I do tons of other exercise and needed a new pair of work out shoes.
