So today was supposed to be Day Without Megan Fox Day, where a bunch of men's blogs got together and decided not to post a thing about Megan Fox because they figured she's getting "overexposed." Personally, I think there's no such thing as Megan Fox being overexposed, but that's just me. For me, Hollywood.com put it best:

What sayest thou in the matter of Megan: Boycott/Don't boycott?

Don't boycott. Incredible eye candy, but I have a hard time seeing her EVER in a critically acclaimed film or role for that matter. Hot, bad actress.

These are actual men? Men that want to boycott Megan Fox?

    That doesn't make much sense....

Asylum.com is the driving force behind this, I think. Today, instead of Megan, they've devoted their site to Betty White (a favorite actress of mine, to be honest, but not favorite enough to supercede Megan).

Sounds to me that that's exactly what this boycott is. Ironically, this is the first I've heard about Megan Fox since after Transformers 2 was released. Which should show how "overexposed" she really is.

To boycott something, I have to give a damn about it first. So, yeah, not happening.

Do Mens Blogs go on about her do they? Hooray, men talking about women.

That's why I don't read mens blogs. I prefer Google Image Search. An image speaks a thousand words.

I'd like Megan Fox on my man cot but it's more likely I will be discussing the merits of Marvel vs DC. At least I'm not reading "man blogs"...

This makes no sense. Megan is obviously a Marvel kind of gal.

So they publicized that they were boycotting Megan Fox today? Doesn't that seem counterproductive? To me it seems that they are drawing attention to her, being the subject of their "boycott," meaning that regular readers will understand the reason behind the "boycott," which is their roundabout way of mentioning her by not mentioning her.

Think of it it this way, which draws more attention to her: Them going about their business posting about her to their readership or them not posting about her, on purpose, and getting posts on forums like this one pointing out to non-readers of the their blogs that they are actively not posting about her today.

They might as well have run out into the street yelling, "We're not posting about Megan Fox!"

My sentiments exactly. Pathetic. It's like that scene in "Swingers" when the guy proudly announces to his friend, did you notice I got through the whole day without mentioning my ex?

^^ I started to notice that in other areas as well like where morning radio will spend an hour on how much they hate some celebrity and can't understand how anyone cares about them. Hello? You just spent an hour on them!

"Man blogs" ? They're just sites that post male interest stuff. Ms. Fox is, understandably, of interest to men.

I will take "man blogs" where they show pictures of women looking beautiful over "woman blogs" where they show pictures of the same women with their cellulite or armpit sweat highlighted any day of the week.

Isn't she staring in 'Jonah Hex' next year? Hex is very much a DC character.
