In a sort of nice mumsey way, which is part of what made every single man in the Universe wanting to get in her cardigan all the more sweet. This new Barbra is more sultry looking. Or maybe it's just me getting older?
Crossing my fingers that we get to see a lot of the making of the actual show in this movie. And it's not another Hollywoodland (good as that movie was) where most of it was about George Reeves' relationships and all we got were a few quick glimpses of the making of Adventures of Superman.
Well, Hollywoodland was more about Reeves as a person and the mystery of his death, with Superman as a backdrop. This, as the title suggests, is more about the creation of the show. Although it might be more about the people involved in the creation and the behind-the-scenes politics and relationships than the actual logistics of filming.
In latest DWM David Bradley says they have recreated a long scene from the original pilot as well as scenes from the episode that went out as the first one. Plus we know other scenes recreated from other stories so I suspect we will see a lot of the show and just behind the scenes.
A one off drama (on BBC Four?) probably won't even get a trailer and if it does, not till two weeks out at least.
BBC America paid for the SDCC trip this year, as they have every year. If they want an exclusive trailer in exchange for the trip, especially since they're coproducers on the Gatiss film, that's their right.
I've seen the second poster before, but not the first. Both are fantastic and I would love to get hold of a print version. Maybe I'll be able to find one when I'm in London for the anniversary.
So, what is the name of this thing? "An Adventure in Time and Space", or "An Adventure in Space and Time"? I've seen both.
Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not clear on the authenticity of the posters. Are they issued by BBC, or fan-made? Sometimes the fan-made stuff is so much better that I've apparently become conditioned to expect mediocre work from the official production company, and stellar work from the fans.
