Most of us Nolan fans have been waiting for a while now to see what Nolan's next project will be...and it might be the science fiction flick written by his brother Jonah "Interstellar". Stephen Speilberg was previously attached to direct this. If this happens, I'm going to be extremely excited.

I only wish he realized that it's possible to go outside one's immediate family for writing duties...

In fairness this sounds more like Chris picking up one of his brother's projects after Spielberg opted out of it (or he opted out of Spielberg, or whatever), rather than him turning to his brother to write one of his films.

Guessing at a Nolan type ending.

We see the lead trapped in an 18th century type timeline
    .
    .
    .
Or is it the year 2017 but tech has been VERY slow to develop due some tampering

Thus creating another one of Nolan's classic endings head scratchers/thinkers

"Is what we saw at the end REALLY the definitive ending?"

This causes Nolan fans to go crazy for years LOL

Fan- We saw he was in the right timeline due to so and so!

Fan 2- You failed to notice the dice not having the same numbers on it so the person can tell if he's in another timeline!"

Honestly I think people over due the endings of some of his movies. They are fun to think about endings, but ended where they were to make them fun.

That said anyone who thinks Dark Knight Rising ending is a thinker needs to lay off of the weed.

The guy's never had anything but box office success and critical acclaim. Why screw around with the formula?

Thinking about the time travel aspect made me realize he could borrow elements from "inception"

The multi layers on layers could apply to time travel

-We have one time traveling team in the 70's( First level)

-One in the present for some contemporary action sequences(second level)

    -Another in the future(third level)

Whatever someone does in the time periods(level) affects future events.

Maybe by the end of the movie the future we saw in the beginning has gone through several time changes

It's so far removed from the beginning that it's now considered an alternate reality.

An alternate dimension is supposed to be involved in the story via the wormhole plot device. I don't know that there will be actual time travel involved in the script, but venturing/exploring an alternate dimension via travel through the wormhole.

This should be pretty cool. I'm very curious to see Nolan's take on a more hard sci-fi(ish) concept.

The idea of Christopher Nolan doing sci-fi (hard science, at that) definitely intrigues me. I'll be keeping an eye on this one with great interest.

Mhmm. Sounds good. But after that, I'd really want to see Nolan direct a Bond film. ;)

I don't know, that just might be too much awesome for one movie to handle.

That and JacksonArcher would most certainly die of over-excitement.

Oh great.. as if time travel is'nt confusing enough now Nolan get's to play with it! It's like he wants to fuck my brain and leave me confused for todays trying to figure out what i just saw

Definitely looking forward to it.. Nolan is currently one of the most interesting filmmakers out there and all of his movies so far had me entertained to no end.
