I am thinking of playing an open world fantasy gaming. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I was a WoW player player from 2005 to 2007 and i played the game very irregularly in the last 6 years. I love WoW but i am tried of looking at the same graphics for what is almost a decade now.

I am looking to play another fantasy game now. It can be MMORPG or stand alone fantasy role playing.

The Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, EverQuest II, RIFT, Guild Wars, Ragnarok Online, Vanguard. I think those are the big ones, though others may want to chime in.

For single player, Skyrim. Huge world, loads of quests, viking themed and you can blast bears off cliffs by shouting at them.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a single player open world game with a kind of MMO feel when it comes to discovery and questing...

Thanks for your all advice, guys. In the end it was a toss up between guild wars 2 and skyrim and i decided to go with gw2. The reason is that i miss the group and guild online play that i once had with WoW. I really love interacting with people online during a game. Thanks for your help once again, guys.

May I recommend the newly-(re)launched Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. I've been playing this game since its original release back in 2010 and suffered through all the launch issues it had. It's really an AMAZING MMO now. It's come so far.
