I forgot it is time to spring forward one hour on our clocks. LINK Just a reminder, do it. I hate losing that hour, I know its just 1 hour, but its my hour and I want it!
Not me! Those of us in the wonderful province of Saskatchewan spurn your daylight savings plans. We don't move our clocks for anybody!
Japan, India, and China do not observe daylight savings time. Some parts of the U.S. and Canada do not observe Daylight Saving Time, such as the state of Arizona (U.S.) and the province Saskatchewan (Canada). Don't ASSUME that everyone needs to set their clocks ahead....
I didn't assume that, I'm just posting a reminder for those that do observe it, like me. I had forgotten actually it was time to do that.
You know, I just realized that the only clock I actually need to change myself anymore is the microwave. Ah, progress!
Good. Now half my clocks will no longer be ahead 1 hour like they have been for the past several months.
Looks like you and I are about the only sane ones on this board. Why these people deem it necessary to screw with perfectly good clocks twice a year.....
If you guys can somehow reset all the clocks in work back one hour, then you can get an hour extra sleep each day until they catch the problem.
So...do TV shows just air at different times throughout the year? I think either the whole world needs to observe DST, or we need to abolish it. It's really annoying.
Damn skippy. Changing is a pain. I wish we'd stay on Daylight Savings time ALL the time. SOOO much better. Why do we go back to "old" time half the year? I notice there are a few folks here who simply left their clocks alone last time. I have a few of those myself!
Let's see, my computers will change their time automatically, my cell phone will as well, and my dvd player does. I just need to change 4 clocks, my bedroom alarm clock, my microwave, an analog clock I have and my car clock.
I hate thie whole change thing. I'm with pick a time & live with it. I've lived on the extreme east and west of a time zone, so I've had it stay dark until 0730 and get dark at 1645. And I live in a middling latitude of N America. I'm for keeping it light in the evening for as long as possible. They have been increasing the percentage of time spent in DST, anyway.
Doesn't happen to us until the end of the month. Still, I might do it earlier this year to, um, save time later. [This will noit end well - everyone]
