Solo would find a way for it to compete.

Kirk and Solo would both be so busy trying to show off that they'd accidentally kill each other.

    Picard- Photon torpedoes

    Luke- WE'RE GONNA GET KILLED!!!
Solo-Don't count this baby out yet, she's still got some tricks up her sleeve.

Data- Sir the ship is listing lazily to the left.

The Falcon is still going in the Expanded Universe and recently celebrated it's 100th 'birthday' since it was made 60 years before the battle of the Yavin (Episode IV) and the Expanded universe is now +40 years after the Battle of Yavin.

So yea, Han Solo would find a way to upgrade it, modify it, and somehow win (or at least escape) heh

Two hugely different classes of ships. The Falcon will lord over the Enterprise for sheer speed and maneuverability. While the Enterprise would have the obvious advantage in firepower and shields. The weapons onboard the Falcon wouldn't do very much, likely not even penetrating the Enterprise's shields initially. But the Enterprise would not likely be able to touch the Falcon as it scoots around the battle field, barring a lucky shot. I suspect it would finish in much the same way as when the Falcon goes up against a Star Destroyer class, with the Falcon leaving them in the dust wondering where the hell they went.

Ironically, I'm actually reading the Millennium Falcon novel right now that's exploring the history of the ship and its numerous modifications over its 100-year lifespan. I definitely think it would end with the Falcon outrunning and outmaneuvering the Enterprise before it could get either a solid phaser, photorp, or tractor beam lock.

I'd call it a tie with neither ship losing or winning and both continuing on their separate ways...

Serenity beat the Enterprise by nearly 2 to 1 while Serenity and the Falcon were much closer, so it can compete.

He, he. I wondered when someone would bring that up. Would it be the Batwing added to the mix?

Not with the way Solo maintanes that ship, ductape and chewing gum and all. Lando, possibly....Solo, no.
And moving to the right slightly might work against imperials, who would lose to a potted plant in an IQ test, but I hightly doubt it would against an Enterprise crew.

And Kirk did pretty well against the Orion ship in Journey to Babel.

Oh please, I think Starfleet officer can figure out how to do that. Or possibly even less parsecs...

Oh, sorry. Was that like saying "Batman, if he had time to prepare."?
