I can't think of anything. I eat plenty of junk food, but I'm not emotionally attached to it on any level.
General Mills Breakfast Squares, I don't know if there was anything healthy about them, but they were great to have while watching Creature Double Feature every weekend. http://www.flickriver.com/photos/29884868@N04/2999975591/
Sounds to me like what is known in Germany as Apfeltasche (for apples) and Kirschtasche (for cherries).
Colman's "French" Mustard. It briefly came back as Colman's Mild Mustard, but then promptly disappeared again. Although I believe you can still get it in 2 litre catering jars, at 20 quid a pop, but they are far too big for one person to get through before the taste goes off.
Yup, that would be it. I'm annoyed now. Why on Earth would McDonalds have that available in one part of the world but not another?!?
Faygo soda pop. I know its still out there, but hard to find. What's odd is the location you DO find it at...like who would have that the BP gas station I stopped at in Huntsville, AL would have a soda pop from Detroit? Its good AND cheap! McDonald's had an awesome grilled chicken sandwich when I worked there in the mid 90s. It had red sliced onions and a creamy spicy sauce. It was so good. Same with their ham and cheese bagel snadwich, had a really unique flavored sauce...they still have the bagel sandwiches, just not that one anymore.
I remember those. They were so good that, as a kid, I would eat them like candy, so the actual "healthy" aspect of it was completely lost.
I got two of those bottles sitting in a cabinet. Next to a bottle of "Alien Ale." Yeah, I was a sucker for weird stuff like that but didn't like the taste of it.
With the new Freestyle machines, I would have thought this was an option. Apparently lemon is only available with Coke Zero.
I really liked Crystal Pepsi. Also, does anyone remember 7-Up Gold? It was like 7-Up mixed with ginger ale and was absolutely delicious. It was tested and then disappeared. It may have only been tested in Colorado, where I lived at the time. I loved the Marathon candy bar when I was a kid. No relation to the UK bar, it was more like the UK's Curly Wurly, but not quite the same. It was very popular in the 70's, but was discontinued in about 1981.
cheese balls. Like a cheesie only ball shaped. btw, my canadian local walmart has never been out of twinkies. I wonder if they were never manufactured by hostess here in the first place.
Those were supposed to be healthy? I had no idea. I gobbled those damn things down like, well, candy. As for discontinued food that NOBODY will miss, I give you these: Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974
I miss chochlate that tasted good. None of the "major brands" have tasted the same since around 2003 or so.
