Thanks! (We can't take full credit on that one, though. It's a nod to "Shaun of the Dead". ) Supportive comments and constructive feedback are always welcome! This one has been challenging- it's our first whodunit and our first time working in a comic strip format.
Cool story so far! One spelling mistake I noticed on panel 6 of the final page - missing the y from parapsychologist. Shame on your artist for adpopting the Star Trek Online version of Saurians instead of the 'true' Saurians from TMP! It was a nice nod though and we can add northern and southern Saurians to our northern and southern Trill If I had to hazard a guess at this stage - the woman did it. It's TAS - no point in having a woman in the episode unless she's a love interest or a killer or both.
Groovy. I love murder mystery stories but they're hard to do in the Trek universe because the technology often trumps so much of the 'old fashioned' detective work. I think your technique of using red tape to place constraints on the characters should be very effective. Things like DNA, security cameras, and witnesses can help keep the ball bouncing but the trick is finding ways so that they only feed part of the story each. Another good trick is if the murderer uses technology themselves to mask their guilt. It's intriguing so far I am going to do a sort of murder mystery for my next Trek story too, albeit that's only a small part of my overall plot.

McCoy: "Hmm, what's with all the handweapons? Is this an arms testing facility?" Alien: "Er, no. That's my hair dryer collection." McCoy: "But you don't have any, er..." Alien: "Yes?" McCoy: "Uh, never mind..." Sincerely, Bill
