... and some that are just plain wrong. For example, there's only one (!) single script that was re-used from Phase II in season two, not "many". Also, in addition to Stephen Hawking, there was also actor Maury Ginsberg who portrayed himself in an episode of Voyager. And the thing with Kirstie Alley is also wrong; she wasn't replaced by Kelsey Grammer, originally she was supposed to stand on Grammer's side (as Saavik).

Why do those kind of lists always get things wrong? I wish they would always have to give their source for the information.

Wesley Snipes as LaForge? That would've been interesting.

In the spirit of Wikipedia, I have to say: [citation needed].

I may be wong, but I was always under the impression that at least two scripts were reworked from Phase II: The Child, and Devil's Due.

If I'm mistaken, I'd like to know the truth.

I think the sticking point is that Stephen Hawking played himself, while Maury Ginsberg played a character with the same name as himself. The character, Maury Ginsberg, is a different person than the actor who played him. Unless the actor eventually became an orthodontist in Scarsdale.

Of course, you could argue that Stephen Hawking played a hologram of himself...

As an owner of the Phase II book, I can say you are correct. Those are the 2 scripts/titles that were reused.

You aren't mistaken, Devil's Due was a reworked Phase II script...but that was season 4, and M said there was only one re-used script in season 2.

Either way, it's not "many" as that article claimed.

I must have glossed over the "season 2" part. Thanks for the clarification.

If that was the case the threat would have been titled: Look at the BOOBS!

As for the accuracy of some of the points, they may be fabrications or exaggerations, but its only a bit of fun--there are bound to be loads of "sources" that claim them as being true.

"Patrick Stewart sang “The Hills are Alive” from the Sound of Music to lighten the mood during Tasha Yar’s funeral scene in “Skin of Evil”"

...umm...wha? the thought process here was:

    1. hey all these actors seem sad during a funeral scene.
    2. they need cheering up.
    3. I'll sing.
    4. I'll sing something from the Sound of Music.

    ...bit worried about Mr Stewart...
