Baggy shirt, some shorts and socks. Typical wake-up/early morning loungewear for me. I'm pretty casual most of the time and just throw on something loose and comfortable when I sleep or am going someplace that doesn't demand or require more formal and stylish dress.
Dark blue shirt, shorts and socks. If it gets nippier I'll switch to sweatpants or jeans, but for right now it's comfortable.
Yesterday I had another work-related shindig (actually, a pretty large one: it was a big anniversary for the foundation I do consulting for), so I decided to wear something that would hopefully be a bit more striking than my usual esnsable (but short of a tuxedo, which is not usually worn here in Italy, except for a very few formal occasions). In the end I opted for a beige suit, brown leather shoes, light blue shirt and blue tie with thin light blue striping. (I am getting more and more enamored with the beige-and-blue look.) Since it has been cold and wet as hell, outdoor I added a camel-hair overcoat and my trusty brown fedora. No pic, I'm afraid (but that could change if I manage to get hold of some of the pictures taken at the party). But I got a few appreciative comments, and more than a few looks, so I guess I didn't look too bad.
