Wish I could be there...would love to see the look on Abrams' face as he is inexplicably confronted by dozens of fans in sombreros asking him questions about hatwear appearances in Trek XI. That will be so awesome...

I'm checking in live from the Comic-Con in San Diego. And I am seriously disappointed by the lack of sombrero representation thus far.

I am wearing a giant sombrero that is sexy as hell, and I expect true fans of Star Trek XI to do the same.

About an hour ago, I was interviewed (in Spanish) by some Spanish television station wondering what the hell I (and my friend) were wearing sombreros for. I explained (in Spanish) that we were representing Star Trek XI. Confusion ensued.

So I'm asking all of you within earshot to don a sombrero and crash the Comic-Con.

Tomorrow, I will assault J.J. Abrams with my sombrero. Be there, or be square.
