I thought it was RG6 & RG59, at least for cable TV.

Heh, you're right. The other ones must have been bleeding over from ham radio.

Finally, I got a notice that the DVDs have shipped. I was beginning to think that this was another false alarm.

I ordered mine with Doctor Who S7 part 2 & The Snowmen, and a couple pre-releases.

Still they didn't ship for 3 or 4 days. They as much as admitted to me once that free shipping gets the lowest priority as far as pulling & packaging the order and getting it actually shipped.

If I really really want something faster, I'll pay for the regular shipping, but that's rare.

I ordered it with a 3-DVD set of Hammer films (Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires is back in print) to qualify for the free shipping and when they shipped that by itself, I started to worry. :rommie:

They had When Things Were Rotten available to order a couple of years ago and then backed out, so I was afraid that would happen again.

My copy arrived, but it's in the rental office right now. At least I have a 4 day weekend coming up, plenty of time to watch.

3 episodes in and I couldn't agree more.

Did anyone catch Mel's cameo in the first episode?

Yeah. Also, Ron Rifkin is something else-- hard to believe this is the same guy who was in Alias. :rommie:

I just watched Those Wedding Bell Blues (Sheik Achmed yadda yadda yadda). The episode was directed my some guy named Marty Feldman, and Steve Landesberg as the Wizard was pretty funny.

Yeah, I love Steve Landesberg. This was before he started appearing on Barney Miller (if I remember correctly), so I wouldn't have known who he was. A few other familiar faces have popped up as well.

Another Barney Miller alum, Ron Glass is in the last episode. Barney Miller started in early 1975 and Landesberg was on at the end of S2 (as Deitrich).

Wow, 13 episodes go by awful fast when they're so much fun. Have to do a rewatch soon, though I wish I could play these damn things on the computer.
