I watched it again today. Love this. Absolutely love this and the ending is really perfect. Sad, but perfect.

I just got my Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog t-shirt. Beware. They are thin. Still ordering a Hammer shirt for my friend for her B-day.

very very awesome. not a joss fan (am obviously a firefly fan).

bodes well for the future of independent production!

Huh? Firefly is Joss. It's his vision, his story, his creation. How can you be a fan of Firefly but not the person who gave you Firefly??

Sure, but your wife is not a work of art that reflects the father.......

They're going to reimagine the Graduate where Dustin's Character falls fro Mr Robinson?

    That would be stellar.

Okay, does anybody else want that "Bad Horse" ringtone on their phone? I keep re-watching this on Hulu, and I like it better each time - keep finding fun stuff to enjoy. :)

This was true for me as well. My first viewing, especially the first act, I was kind like "hmmm....different....." but after my 3rd or 4th viewing I absolutely adored it.

Well, I'm a fan of Firefly/Serenity... but not a huge fan of Joss' other work.

Dr. Horrible was fun (mostly due to NPH) but I wouldn't spend money on it.

I can understand why some might have a hard time getting into Buffy. But I don't understand how someone can like Firefly but not Angel. Granted, the first season was less than impressive overall but Seasons 2-5 are excellent.

Out of curiousity, how much of a chance have you given Angel?

While I loved both Buffy and Angel, I don't really like Firefly. I enjoyed the movie, but I have tried watching the series and there is something about it I don't like.

Love Firefly, and I love this. I must have watched it 15 to 20 times. My favorite song is "On the Rise"

There are only two obstacles to getting into Buffy: Getting over the fact that you're watching a show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and lasting past the cheese of the first season.

Not that the first season is bad, per se. But the series was still finding its legs and its voice, and it tended to feel more unpolished that year than later.

Once you're past those two, the show sells itself.

isnt that true of alot of first seasons?

alot of shows that run 7 + years, you look back when its ended, S1 is nothing compared to what it become.

Well, I got my tee-shirts yesterday and today I'm wearing my Dr. Horrible: Sing Along Blog shirt. I went into Starbucks today and the girls behind the counter were like, "I heard of that and how was it?" I said, "Simply the greatest thing ever to be produced." Then I played the first act on my iPhone for them.

I'm going to start to demo my bathroom on Tuesday, so I will wear my Captain Hammer shirt then.

So frakking awesome, love the way NPH sings the lyrics in my sig while putting the goggles on and turns to camera, total badass. I love the "everything you ever..." in the background, gives it that extra coolness.

And the evil look Bad Horse gives is hilarious.

The ending of act III is simply one of the best things Joss Whedon has ever done! I know that sounds like high praise, but like Ethros here, Dr. Horrible finally being inducted into the Evil League of Evil was awesome! It was a pay off I wasn't expecting. I too so want a soundtrack and the DVD when its released.

They used to put a Carrot up Mr Eds ass so he'd move his lips. Bad Horse would not put up with that at all.
