Cast the Characters of Trek Literature

KRAD never said who he wanted to play Bart Faulwell. I think Ryan Reynolds would work but hes too young.
Is Dane Cook too young too? They both look alike almost when they both have beards.

 

Yeah, they're both too young, I think. He's supposed to be like this ordinary middle-aged librarian type, isn't he? I'm almost seeing Hugh Laurie.

 

I dunno, I can't see him as anything but Fez. I would just keep expecting Hyde and the rest to walk in and catch him eating sweets while perving over Jackie or Donna ...

That Alternate History Eugenics Wars of the 90's Show

 

How about Benjamin Bratt? He would make a far better Khan than that kid from 70's Show would.

 

How about a young Ricardo Montalban? It's fantasy casting, after all.

 

^Well now that's a strange choice.

 

With CGI, I suppose it could be done.

And Montalban is, AFAIK, still alive, so he could provide the voice...

 

Seconded - and I kept seeing Tom Welling as Lio.

 

I was thinking last night and Hugh Laurie would be a great choice for Bart Faulwell. I mean after him be picked of Aznerl, well Jeffrey Combs can play multiple characters, why can't he?

 

For Pattie P8 Blue, we'll put in the Lady Bug from the Disney movie Bugs. That sounds like a good fit.

 

Except he was a guy. Wow, I'm kinda embarassed to admit I actually knew that. But what can I say, I like Pixar.

How about Donald Sutherland as Captain Gold?

 

^ Well, the ideal casting is really Harry Morgan, but Sutherland's almost never a bad choice.

 

If you go by his appearance on TNG, yeah. But he looks quite a bit older on 4400...
