Star Trek Animated Web Series dead?

Has CBS pulled the plug on the Star Trek Animated web series set in the 26th century? Or is the series still in development? I have only heard of this project on Trekmovie at the following URL: http://trekmovie.com/2006/12/13/cbs-considering-new-animated-trek-series/#more-358

 

We've heard nothing since 2006. I think it's safe to assume that its dead Jim.

 

I thought that the proposed series sounded great. I love the idea of re-building the UFP---there's a great potential there for both gritty drama and a sense of optimism.

 

Meh. The art was a little derivative - like Trek meets Batman Beyond, and the plot was, well, silly. I guess if it was just a web series it might have been interesting.
