Mortal Kombat: Legacy Episode 1 is Online!

Just got caught up with Kitana/Mileena Pt2, and Raiden. K/M wasn't particularly good, though I liked their initial fight scene. Raiden was lots of fun; very atmospheric. I do think they missed a few tricks though: it would have been AWESOME to see him being given Electro-Convulsive Therapy and use the energising effect of that to breakout of the institute (in fact, that's where I thought they were going, with the whole "other treatments" angle, until they revealed the lobotomy hammer and pick). They did a little of that with the tasers, but full-on ECT would have been far cooler. Loved the literal hat-tip at the end though.

Looking forward to Sub-Zero/Scorpion.

This and the next one will probably be the best ones!

Weird seeing Ian Anthony Dale play Kazuya in the Tekken movie and Scorpion in this one.

 

That was beautiful. Interesting to see Maurissa Tancharoen as Kana. She of course is Kevin's brother and co-wrote "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog".

These two episodes are my favorite of the series so far. Both emotional and action packed and with a high octane score. I believe this is the second episode of the series that directly references the Mortal Kombat tournament.

 

Pretty cool.

Warner has once again talked about the possibility of this season being released on DVD at some point. Next week is Cyrax and Sektor.

 

I can't wait for that.

 

Apparently we have to wait until Comic Con next month before seeing the next episode...no reason why was given on the facebook page. I'm assuming that this is just their version of a hiatus. This makes me think announcements are coming about the future of this at Comic Con as well.

This image is from the finale which will be airing at comic con. We will be getting the rest of the series after comic con as I mentioned in the previous page. For some reason this pic reminds me of the Iron Man movies.

The finale is here and it's awesome! The fight sequence reminds me of something out of Red Vs Blue. We also see the Mortal Kombat tournament symbol for the first time I think.
