Great photos... this looks very good. :drool:Hope to see your trailer soon!

Sorry to hear about the rain, we have only had about .50 inches each day for the last three. This is April weather we are having in mid July?????

Glad y'all like the photos! William's doing a great job photodocumenting the production.

We literally haven't had rain since April, so we're glad we've got some, but I wish we'd been shooting in May.

We'll be filming this particular episode until September, and then we're going to have to make a decision as to who's going to edit it. LOL Please, don't let it be me. A lot of Jeff's shots are technically challenging!

Whew! Just finished a shoot this morning for "The Night the Stars Fell from the Sky" -- man, was it HOT when we finished. We managed to get one really complicated scene shot, and tomorrow we should progress more quickly.

Be sure and check out our FaceBook group later this evening for updated photos.

Finished another weekend (our sixth) of shooting Friday and Saturday mornings. This time, we meet the leaders of the T'Mek tribe on Sumaya.

She's done a great job with them, that's for sure, but she and Bill did a great job getting the T'Mek arbor properly decorated with the dyed musline swags.

Due to real life interuptions, we're seeking someone with Adobe Premiere to help with the panel animations that are currently holding up the release of "The Void" and a few other episodes. We've already got the animations complete. We just need someone to place them correctly into the footage. We can explain more in detail later, but if you're interested, have the software package already (or one similar enough to use) and access to high-speed internet, please contact me directly as soon as possible. "The Void" is now finished except for the panel animations and a few green screens, and we need some help.

We'll be shooting this Saturday in the heat. Hopefully, we'll have some cool pics to post. I'm hoping we have only three more weekends in the heat, and then we can move inside.

"Cool" pics from shooting in the heat. There's a contradiction there somewhere. :) Stay safe, eat lots of Plomeek soup.

Actually, the amount of water, juice and soda we consumed last weekend was in excess of 15 gallons! The doughnuts, fruit and pastries weren't hardly touched at all.

Re: New Star Trek Fan Film

Another awesome day of shooting on the planet Sumaya. Bugs didn't seem to be as bad. Temp didn't seem as hot, and we actually shot until 12:45pm or so. Some really great shots of the Vulcan children in William C. Searcy's album here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...a/set/?set=a.2291190596207.2134344.1142255615

Next Friday, we'll be shooting with Eric Holt, Dennis Proulx and Christin Woods.

Next Saturday, we'll be shooting the T'Mek/T'Rike fight scene as well as a shot of the T'Mek governmental building as it's evacuated.

Thanks! I think Steve did a great job with it. We're finishing up the green screens, and two of our VFX volunteers are working on on the panel animations. I wish things were moving faster, but we're hoping to have "The Void" finished soon.

Meanwhile, filming continues tomorrow morning for "The Night the Stars Fell from the Sky"...

This is really starting to shape up. Nice to see what was on a script move to actual production and then towards final release.

The trailer really captures what is going on. Plus the CGI is great. From the trailer you can tell there is CGI (or some other SFX), but only to move the story along (unlike, say, certain higher budgeted Sci Fi films that were released in the past 15 years).

I really like the music. It captures the tension without taking over.:techman:

And on a personal note, you have a devilishly handsome Chief Helmsman (albeit on the plump side)! But that's just me. :p:)
