For me personally, this shot works the best of all the ones you've shown here! Maybe Spock's head could be somewhat larger, but all in all this shot really rings true as a shot that could have been from TAS. I don't know about the others, though. In most of them there's too much that screams 3D rendering to me.
I've been playing my TAS DVDs in the background as I work from home lately. These are really cool. Nice work!
I like the shots of Spock a lot. In the Kirk running shot, I can't stop looking at his ass. That might say more about me than it does about the art. I pitched a Scooby-Doo crossover once. Kail shot it down.
Thanks Kaiser. It's kind of a hybrid of the different versions we saw over the course of the series. I had never realized how often it was changed.
Pretty neat! The down angles on the faces all suffer from a problem with the noses, which should be protruding out over the upper lip more. This is particularly apparent in the image of Spock with his head tilted down. It makes his nose look scrunched up.
I finally got toonline to work in Poser. Here are some wallpapers I've made. I did not create the meshes, or the backgrounds. All I did was render using toonline and compile the layers. It's not rocket science, but it was fun.
