Nope, Iceman. We need to see what he's been up to since The Last Stand.

I heard a rumor that X-Men 4 will feature Iceman looking for his long-lost uncle who turns out to be Mr. Freeze with Arnold reprising the role.

Over the past few weeks and what we've learned about "The Dark Knight Rises" I could see Nolan's Mr. Freeze.

    Freeze could flood Gotham.

Batman needs a way to navigate the flooded areas

Imagine a flooded city street and Batman's vehicle skimming the water.

His name is Mr. Freeze, not Mr. Wet. He can flood Gotham, but he better have a big fat freeze ray to turn it into a giant skating rink.

Hydro Man could work, except for that he's already a Marvel villain.

I really like the idea of a Nolanverse Mr. Freeze, though. I've always really liked his character and the backstory with his wife.

"My name is Freeze. Learn it well, for it's be the chilling sound of your doom."

    Pfft...he's so whipped.

It was indeed me who said that.

And as I said also, there are tv shows like The Wire and Treme who feature characters who speak with strong accents, speaking street dialogue and patois. Certainly on this side of the Atlantic, the fact that they are almost impossible to decipher at times is a talking point among fans of the shows but it doesn't put us/them off the show. You just roll with it; you get the drift.

David Simon, producer/ writer of both shows takes the view that if you like the programme enough, you'll make the effort to understand what's being said and/ or you'll get the idea and work it out from the context. He wants to challenge viewers and is, frankly, a little snobby about casual viewers and those who want spoonfed. I personally could understand what Bane said but I can't help but wondering if Nolan was aiming for the same thing with Bane.

Wow....that's some serious detail in the interview in regards to Gotham City. Confirms some of what we've been talking about.

Real Estate. Supposed to be prime property in the DCU which is why the Waynes own most of it. Not to mention that Gotham in the DCU is supposed to be one of the oldest American cities. The crime rate would make me just a tourist :) I'd prefer Metropolis myself.
