Had a bit of Star Trek marathon yesterday.

ENT "Minefield" and "Dead Stop" (a great double-bill)

    followed by

    TOS-R "Metamorphosis"

(my mind wandered into the realm of fan-fic during it, about the rejuvinated figure marooned on that planetoid being Trip instead and telling Kirk he's Cochrane, then having to keep up the pretence. Before realising his mistake, asking "Don't tell them about me." Probably more an Abramsverse retelling.)

    TNG "The Enemy"

    and later that evening

    DS9 "The House of Quark".

DS9's "The Visitor". Spent most of the time crying.

It was nice to see some character progression with the doctor, but the rest of it was pretty ho-hum.

TOS - Shore Leave. Love that episode!

Also, ENT - Broken Bow. Trying to learn my way around that show a little bit and the premiere episode seemed like a good place to start.

Watched "Realm of Fear" yesterday, which I enjoyed except for a few things:

-After Barclay confirms he saw the giant microbes in the transporter stream, Picard has LaForge and O'Brien shut down all transporters and perform a diagnostic. I know Barclay had been strange and paranoid before, buy why not send another person through to confirm that the microbes exist?

-They never really explain how the crew members turned into worm-things while in the transporter beam. If they were trying to cleanse themselves of microbes, shouldn't they look like humans glowing blue (like Reg did earlier during LaForge's test of the container)?

I watch Shore Leave quite a lot. It's the episode of TOS that I know best.

TNG - Yesterday's Enterprise. Easily in my top 10 in all of Star Trek.

Don't know about the last, but UPS just dropped of TOS season 1 blu-ray. I know what the next episode I watch will be.

I watched Relics! My favorite scene was when Scotty and Picard were talking on the bridge of the original Enterprise. Great stuff!

The Price and The Vengeance Factor just now. Mediocre.
