Hey I've been using Bandicam to take screenshots of the more epic moments of DS9 but the quality on Netflix is not so good. Is there a way on Netflix to add deinterlacing? I know that my netflix quality on the account is set to the maximum possible, so unfortunately I think it is the quality of the video itself...

    Here is an example.

I can't afford the DVDs unfortunately. Plus I prefer to take my own screenshots as have the freedom to chose memorable moments rather than rely on a small number of preselected ones.

Have you actually looked at Trekcore's galleries? The number of shots chosen is far from small.

I totally understand the desire to choose your own, but in the absence of a better option...

There are certain ways to get every episode of DS9 in DVD quality without buying the DVD's. I won't say any more.

Having said that, I have the DVD's and the quality really isn't all that great. We can only dream the Blu-ray thing happens.

Trek core literally has pictures every few seconds on every episode.

I get the quality from the standard DVDs when I stream on Netflix. If you're getting worse, it's your connection, or your device.

Netflix is free? Silly me - here I'm sending them monthly checks when I don't have to!
