In the lap of squalor I assure you.
Did y'all notice that Maw Maw was interned in the Earl J Hickie Memorial Nursing Home for the Raising Hope Season 3 primers?

Is Earl really dead, or have they still not got the most complete grasp of the English language?

I love all the nods to My Name is Earl, one of the most underrated sitcoms of all-time, IMHO.

Patty the Day Time Hooker made an appearance as herself. Randy, Darnell, Joy, and Earl have appeared (as other characters). And of course Kenny is a regular as the store manager.

There was the premiere, where you see on TV “In lighter news, a small-time crook with a long list of wrongs he was making amends for has finally finished, and you’ll never guess how it ended…”

Of course, the TV gets unplugged before we hear the rest.

He's not dead. Long live Earl!

Oh, and Raising Hope is pretty good too.

It should be noted that this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new sitcom; a sitcom that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish.
