Howzabout lots more and bigger Wallpapers? I mean, if anyone cares. I did up almost all my images from my kitbash site, plus added a few new ones, in both 1280x1024 and 1920x1200 (widescreen): http://www.inpayne.com/models/wallpapers/kitbash-wallpapers.html An unfortunate side effect of the huge pictures is that it occasionally shows the flaws in the models MUUUCH better.
You've updated the site since I last saw it. Cool. Lots of new models too. The Artemis is similar to the POTT Enterprise?
POTT? Planet of the Termites? If that's the McQuarrie proposal, yes, but more precisely it's my interpretation of the Ariel class shuttlecarrier.
Your Executive Shuttlecraft is close to what I had in mind for the Prius-class Shuttlecraft! Nice job. Did you kit this, or is is strictly on the drawing board? Also, I really enjoyed last year's kit bash calendar. I had it printed up on good paper, cost an arm and a leg, but gave pleasure all year.
Thanks! The exec shuttle is a kitbash from the AMT AMTronic concept car model kit, and a pair of Steadtler highlighter pens. http://www.starshipmodeler.com/rv/pre_amtronic.htm http://www.inpayne.com/models/shuttle_exec/shuttle_exec_det.html
Oddly enough, the Coeur de Lion and the Belisarius were both conceived as "slightly over-the-top fanboy" gags to amuse everyone. My versions of the extreme battlewagons adolescent fans have wetdreamed over the decades. But I couldn't bring myself to go TOO far over the top, and everybody seemed to like them as serious designs in the end anyway.
We will also be missing the little Starfleet holidays and other quips on the calendar. E.g., yesterday was the Trill Holiday known as Slug Swapping Day, which is also Nichole DeBoer's birthday. I will be keeping this year's calendar for reference. Is this listing published on line anywhere? It was just another neat touch to the calendar to warm the cockles of a Trekker's heart.
