Hi and thanks! I just used MSPaint to get most of it done really.

This is the bridge that belongs to my TOS era design, the U.S.S Orion. As this is a relatively small ship, I wanted to convey a bridge that reflected that. Thus it is meant to be a bit more cramped in appearance than the standard Constitution class. That being said, I still wanted it to look like it belonged in the period of the classic series. Two of my personal favourite touches are the high backed classic captains chair and the single pilot helm console. I always liked how Captain Sulu had the MSD display right behind his chair on the Excelsior, so I incorporated that little detail here too.

If we asume that the Enterprise was indeed launched in the 2240's under Robert April, this ship could have a registry of 1753 and be commisioned in the early 2250's.

    Love the design btw. ;)

Thanks so much Mage, very kind of you to say. (Sigh) Yeah the registry is still a bit of a knit-pickers issue with me. I actually preferred having a 4-digit 1753 number and only made the change for authenticity's sake...I'm actually feeling like I should have changed it to NX-1653 and be done with it...lol!

Thanks mate. I meant to ask actually, do you still have a download link available for your excellent 3dsmax model of the Enterprise-F?

Very nice! That last pic of it landed triggered a strange memory - I designed a similar ship many years ago, although mine was based off of one of the ships in the opening titles of ENT. I like your design better, though!

Thanks B.J., yeah they do look a bit similar don't they? I checked out your DA gallery. Loved your takes on the Starfleet Galileo shuttlecraft. Especially the VW Campervan one (I've got one myself and have always loved them). I'm actually adapting a model version as we speak...stay tuned!

Yes! Foundation-3d has it for sure. I need to check Trekmeshes and deviantart. ;)

By the way.... Can I try a conversion of this ship too? I´m a bit rusty and freetime isn´t my friend anymore, so, it can take sometime. But i think it can be done. :D
