No, nothing set in stone at least.. As I said earlier I guess I will try to have a constant rotation between series (so TOS-TNG-DS9-VOY-ENT-two or three book exclusives/miniseries and then start with TOS again) to not get to one-sided, and throw in some older titles (like Warped) in-between the titles of the novel continuity area.
Isn't Warped, like, incredibly terrible? I'd stick to great ones; there are plenty of those. Love the rest of that list
Yes, Warped is incredibly terrible (and that is an incredibly favorable view at it), but a) I want to see how it fairs, and b) we are already extremely top-heavy in the ranking, so why not give poor Michael A. Martin some competition for the bottom places? FWIW the next DS9 novel after that most likely would be Avatar.
^ I've always thought I should re-read Warped and see if I like it better now that I'm older. Maybe this will be my impetus to finally do so.
New classic review thread has been posted: DS9: Warped Really interested how it fairs and if it is really as hated as it often appeared in the past.
You made a typo in the poll options - "Avarage" instead of "Average". The code checking for whether a thread contains a poll in in a compatible format is too strict to allow that. I'll modify the code to make it ignore that. Edit: Done & report generation re-run.
So, my plans for upcoming classic review threads at the moment (assuming everyone is O.K. with me continuing doing those): Week 2/2014: Enterprise: By the Book * Dean Wesley Smith & K.K. Rusch Week 4/2014: IKS Gorkon: A good day to die * Keith R.A DeCandido Week 6/2014: Titan: Taking Wing *Andy Mangels & Michael A. Martin Week 8/2014: SCE: The Belly of the Beast * Dean Wesley Smith Week 10/2014: TOS: The Pandora Principle *Carolyn Clowes Week 12/2014: TNG: Resistance * J.M: Dillard Week 14/2014: DS9: Avatar, Book One * S.D. Perry Week 16/2014: VOY: String Theory, Book Two: Fusion * Kirsten Beyer Week 18/2014: ENT: What Price Honor? * David Stern Week 20/2014: I.K.S. Gorkon: Honor Bound * Keith R.A. DeCandido Week 22/2014: Titan: The Red King * Andy Mangels & Michael A. Martin Week 24/2014: New Frontier: House of Cards * Peter David
Are books starting to disappear off this list? Weirdly, all the Destiny trilogy is still on there, but the books immediately published after Destiny - A Singular Destiny, Over A Torrent Sea, Full Circle, Troublesome Minds - all aren't. Are old threads getting deleted, or was that always true? EDIT: Never mind, did some searching of my own - they're all still here, but they didn't have polls. Oh well.
Hmm I'd say "always been true", e.g. the Full Circle thread has no poll, and the same goes for A Singular Destiny and Over a Torrent Sea. Keep in mind it's not a general index of book threads - it's only the threads with a compatible poll.
