Will there be anything to celebrate ds9's 20th anniversary next year?

At least there should be a pretty cover with...
The new DS9 station on it.
...most likely on DRG3's opening chapter to "The Fall"

Yah I did miss the updates, I thought this was a second multi-book series & that DS9 had it's own. That's what I get for taking most of Thanksgiving off:). Should be a fun ride, I'm excited for TrekLit in 2013.

Maybe back when Pocket released two books per month, there would've been time for two 5-book events in a single year, but not anymore.

Hell yeah, finally a decent character writer back on Titan!

Not a huge fan of Titan, I would've definitely skipped its installment in The Fall if Micheal Martin had been writing it. Swallow can be hit or miss, but I at least feel like I'll get something in readable shape for eight bucks.

I am glad that Swallow is back. This sounds like an epic series!

Any indication as to what, exactly, will be "falling"?

^It's all gonna be about that reality Q told us about in The Eternal Tide where Janeway slips in the shower and dies.

Unfortunately it's just The Fall, and does not have the word Classic at the end. ;)

What's The Fall series? I've tried googling it and I guess I missed the announcement.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

    Heh.

But White-Blue is like Data. They both run on Android... :bolian:

Just hope Voyager doesn't end up doing a time jump like DS9 did just so it can catch back up with the other 24th century books!

Man that would be a stupid idea. I sure hope that doesn't happen.

Actually, from where the last book left off, a time jump for Voyager wouldn't be a *terrible* thing. At least, it wouldn't be as mind-numbingly frustrating as it was for DS9.

Agreed. Given the way things ended in The Eternal Tide, a small jump forward in time wouldn't be a huge deal. I wouldn't want several years to pass between novels, but a few months certainly would not disrupt the story. There aren't any dramatic cliffhangers or on-going plot threads that would be severely disrupted by a small jump forward.

A months long jump would actually seem to make sense. Several years ahead the "Litverse present" would probably just serve to disrupt the story.
