Fix the glitch. No problems fixing the bodies if combined? Then there should be none when it's the minds combined. It's just as much a puree as the thing with two heads. Bambi eyes or not, fix the glitch.
There is no glitch to fix. A person has been created, and he has the inalienable right to exist. Advocating for his death is advocating for murder.
That's sanctimonious. The brain is just an organ, like the rest of the body. This issue is just taking the brain as some holy seat not to be defiled. The thing with two heads can be fixed without a quibble, no reason the thing with one can't be.
I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment, but I've been on these boards for a long time, and maybe not so much today but you go back a way and it when it came to spoilers there were plenty about the latest episode/film of <insert title>, where other countries might have to wait weeks or months to see it after it's US release. And I'm not talking about going into a thread about said episode/film but a totally unrelated thread.
Neither are Tukok and Neelix, they're plot devices. Why can the thing with two heads be separated, but not the thing with one? Is the brain some special seat and temple never to be defiled? Or is it just an organ, now a combine of two folks, no more special than the stomach of the thing with two heads? I say fix the glitch.
We are, all of us, the sum of our dreams, and the pit of our despairs. Mine involve meshing Susie Q, Janeway, and Seven...
Operation: Voyager Edition. So you have to extract Neelix from Tuvok, or Janeway from Seven with those special pliers tongs but every time you tug on the wrong bit hir bright red bulbous nosebuzzer buzzes.
And why would I want to extract Janeway from Seven? But yes, this thread is one long irritating buzzing noise from the tewwible tweezers failing to keep Tuvok and Neelix's insides straight.
