Now if whoever made that was really on the ball, he would have superimposed "Shawn" over "Aaron."

I really enjoyed the last few seasons of the show. Since this is only $.99 an issue, I might give it a try, at least for the first couple issues.

So who is downloading a copy of this today? It is out now and on Comixology for 99 cents. I'll be checking it out eventually.

Who is that with Spider-Man Young?

    Looks like Captain Marvel.

    But which one?

    Well, read it.

    took a minute and half.

    Huge Art.

Every Page was a double page

And then there there's a fleck of a sprinkle of words on them.

If this was a real comic, it would fold out to be the size of a news paper.

Which would be a nice effect.

but this thing is %100 online right?

The First Barry Ween comic, I read YEARS ago...

"Barry, Barry! there's a glowing space vagina in your basement"

Which is what I have come to to think of errodecent time space apertures since then.

    but truthfully?

Did that glowing space vagina remind you more of the glowing space vagina in Star trek generations or the glowing space vagina from the the first Fantastic Four movie WHICH ALSO COLLIDED WITH A SPACE STATION!

Unless this bugger comes out weekly it gets a fail.

It is Carol Danvers, she's the new Captain Marvel, or will be taking his name. As to the issue I read in about two minutes as well. I didn't like the format either, but will live with it. I thought it was off to a good start. Didn't feel like a Smallville episode, felt more like a comic book, but still had show elements. Otis!!!! Miller was the perfect writer for this book, and I liked the exchange with the Russian Cosmonauts. More Donner Verse homaging it would seem.

I'm not the only one who thought of Superman IV: The Quest For Peace when I read the cosmonaut rescue scene, was I?

Neat little issue. Mostly setup though. Wish it had more content but it was fun to see Tom Welling's Superman in action, even if it is only in comic form.

Ah Superman IV: The Quest For Peace...that was the specific movie I was thinking of! Yep this was definitely set up, but like I mentioned that is pretty much what all "Smallville" season premiers were. I saw somewhere that this will be published as a regular comic next month (as I think DC has done with the Batman Beyond and Superman Beyond digital comics and will be doing with the Arkham City Unhinged book).

It was only a panel but I did love Lois alone, mumbling in bed...I could picture Erica mumbling lol. The Chloe and Ollie scenes were great as well. Rao...I think I'm going to love this book.

Chloe and Ollie really made it feel like Smallville rather than just another Superman book. It's a lot of fun coming back to this version of the mythos. :)

    But really?

    Really?

If you were the lucky little tiny little blonde girl...

    Queen-Sullivan or Sullivan-Queen?

I mean think about how tis will effect her second marriage?

Either he's saying Lex is so important his name goes first, or she's Queen Luthor.

    HA!

I disagree with that. It would have been worse and more obvious with bad dialogue if Brian and Kelly were writing it. The book is in good hands. I'm not expecting it to wow me but for basically a 99 cent comic it was pretty good.

Agreed. I got what I paid for. If it had been $3.99 I would have been pissed though.

I just finished reading issue two of Season Eleven, and count me impressed. Bryan Q. Miller has delivered already in two issues exactly what the latter seasons of "Smallville" should have touched on without including (so far) any of Kelly and Brian's silliness. I also guess the Bat Embargo has been lifted for the comic since Lois was using a Wayne Tech lap top. Lex and Clark's "reintroduction" was handled interesting and I assume that is Tess that Lex saw at the end of the issue!!
