Tom Cruise had one scene in Endless Love where Martin Hewitt got the idea to burn down Brooke Shield's house in the name of love. James Spader was also in the movie.

Blink and you'll miss Nicolas Cage in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Damon Wayans (the banana man) in Beverly Hills Cop. Chris Rock in Beverly Hills Cop II.

Harrison Ford was on an episode of "Love American Style"
Anthony Edwards and Eric Stoltz also played small parts in "Fast times at Ridgemont High"
Christian Slater appeared in "Tales from the Darkside"
    Clint Eastwood was in "Rawhide"
Patrick Stewart and Liam Neeson in "Excalibur"
Mark Hamill as Lori's boyfriend on "The Partridge Family"
George Clooney has played on 2 tv shows named E.R.
Shannon Doherty on "Little House on the Prairie"? during the later years ofthe show? I could be wrong on that one.

that's all I can think of real quick. I like to watch old movies just for this reason, too see famous actors in bit parts.
Friends don't play movie/tv trivia games with me anymore.

Not just "one of his victims" Probably the most famous of all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, he got sucked through the bed and all that blood, that scene is classic.

Jim Carrey in "Peggy Sue Got Married"

^ Doherty was on Little House on the Prairie, too.

John Cusack played Wil Wheaton's brother in Stand By Me.

I'm sure Jennifer Aniston would like to be remembered for the Ferris Bueller TV series or Leprechaun.

    Forest Whitaker in Bloodsport.

Future stars who appeared in M*A*S*H episodes:

    Patrick Swayze - 1981 - A couple prior roles
Teri Garr - 1973 - Many prior roles, I'm not sure how big
Joan Van Ark - 1973 - Pretty much the same as Teri Garr
    John Ritter - 1973 - A few prior roles
George Wendt - 1982 - Several prior roles

Lots of others, listed here, more or less famous than those above. Those are the most notable to me anyway.

I don't think he counts, but Leslie Nielson was in an episode in 1973, but he had been in TV & movies since 1950. This is the earliest thing I've seen him in.
Ron Howard too, but obviously he had a few notable roles by 1973, but not Happy Days, yet.

Nikki Cox had a brief speaking roll in Terminator 2

The fat male lawyer from the Practice played a door man in the very first episode of the Conan Obrien Show, it was his first roll on tv.

Dule Hill from Psych and The West Wing played Bud on the Cosby show. ;)

Not to mention a role in the TNG episode "Pen Pals" as Sarjenka.

The only one that springs to mind is Samuel L. Jackson in Coming to America. He plays a guy trying to rob McDougal's and Eddy Murphy takes him out with a mop stick.

And the fantasy movie Krull before that (along with Hagrid himself, Robbie Coltrane)

Daniel Craig was a snotty teenage drug dealer in Drop The Dead Donkey many moons ago...

David Boreanaz got punched out by Ed O'Neill as Kelly's boyfriend in Married With Children

Tony Head was a Nazi in Secret Army in about 1979...

Kate Winslet was in Casualty in 93 & the before mentioned Masi Oka was in Joey, actually that side Masi has got a fun IMDB, however many actors also have "digital artist: ILM" credits
