at the moment GTA5 and Watch Dogs are at the top of my hit list... although Assassin's Creed 4 isn't too far behind them
Star Citizen I loved Freelancer and played some of the Wing Commander games back in the day. Star Citizen might be the game that kills any interest I still have for STO. The game footage they show on the homepage is amazing. i hope by the time it comes out I have a machine that can run it with max settings. If it holds up as well as the first trailer suggests it might outright kill STO for good and leave Cryptic in the dust.
Well, most of the open world games already mentioned... GTAV Saints Row IV Assassins Creed IV Watch Dogs inFamous Second Son Batman Arkham Origins Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pai
August and September has a boatload of great titles coming out for my retro/indie loving self. No point in even looking beyond September right now. Volgarr The Viking Shovel Knight Duck Tales Remastered Castle of Illusion: Starring Mickey Mouse Remake Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Sir, You Are Being Hunted
This year my most anticipated game is easily GTA V. I'm particularly interested in GTA Online. Next year should be pretty obvious based on my avatar - Bungie's Destiny.
I admittedly aren't aware of too many games prior to them coming out, but here are my big three that I know of Titanfall- This intrigues me. Larger maps, a campaign that's built into the multiplayer, and the idea of being able to play as regular soldiers and as giant mechs. Seems like an interesting concept that I'm excited to try. CoD Ghosts: I was almost to the point where I was over CoD and ready to skip the next game in favor of Titan Fall ad BF4. Maps are getting ridiculously tiny and the spastic action where you are constantly right back in the action after spawning is a little old (if you even survive the respawn). Even though I have the season pass, I've played less than an hour since the last two DLC packs have come out. HOWEVER, Ghosts has shown me just enough to pique my interest again. I hope it is different enough or enough of an improvement to keep my interest. X-Rebirth: I've really enjoyed X3: Terran Conflict, though the buggy/idiotic AI admittedly drove me away from finishing the game. I'm looking forward to seeing how they reworked the series.
Pre-ordered GTA5 and SR4... Waiting for more new about the PS4 before deciding on which version of AC4 and Watch_Dogs to order...
I will now say The Walking Dead Season 2 from Telltale games. I just finished the first season, and it blew me away.
It's alive! It's alive! Anyway, have some new ones: XCOM Enemy Within - A DLC expansion for the game, out next month. Homeworld Shipbreaker - Moar Homeworld! Galactic Civilisations III - Finally a sequel to the best 4X turn-based space game. Probably as excited for this as I am for Star Citizen.
My most anticipated game is FINAL FANTASY XV ....been anticipating it since 2006.... back when it was versusXIII.
