Saw this at lunch yesterday at the country club I was at. A momma bear sleeping in a pine tree. What you can't see is the cub under her and the other one about 6 feet away.

    ^Such a lovely photo. :)

LOVE this! Does the pattern come in different sizes? And who's the lucky redshirt? ;)

This photo makes me smile every time you post it. Such a lovely, handsome young man.

My boyfriend's type I. He's not very good about it from what I've seen. I don't know how much I should nag, though; it's not like he doesn't know what he's supposed to do.

Around here the jelly is also used with venison (and game). :)

Oh, and: Frost also reduces the vitamin-content.

That a black bear or a grizzly, hard to see with the obstructed view. I always go by the ears and the hump or lack thereof on the neck.

I've had a few chances to see bears in the wild, all but once from a comfortable distance. Awesome to see in person.

Wow. I've always wanted a Maine Coon; they're so beautiful. My family always referred to cats that size as "cogs:" cats big enough to be dogs.

And very VERY chatty. But they are so laid-back and chill. They're the best.

Like auntiehill, I've also always wanted a Maine Coon. They're so big, beautiful, and have wonderful personalities.
