Is it ok to post these here or should they be in the art section?

All models and renders of the Franklin class by Bill Johnson!
    Composites by me

    I like. A lot!

And I can definitely see her as the Angel, but she looks nothing like the ship I was seeing in my mind's eye.

So, now I have to ask ..., where do the Valkyries launch from, as you imagine it?

Gorgeous ship, and excellent dedication plaque. The level of detail you and your compatriot have developed here is fantastic. :)

^^^ Ahhhhh ..., I sort of had a feeling that's probably where they should come from, but couldn't make out sufficient detail in the ortho to be sure. Very cool. I really like this ship.

Same, I was invisioning something a lot longer, more like a freighter, rather than the standard Starfleet military saucer and secondary hull style.

I like this design a lot more. :)

    Exactly!

And somehow, I saw the Valkyrie bays positioned on the port and starboard sides of the vessel ... somewhere ... somehow. LOL! Maybe I had too much BSG on the brain once Spider and Dingbat added the launchers. ;)
    Ditto! :bolian:

Get out of my mind, TrekkieMonster :p Towards the end, with the bays for shuttles and runabouts closer towards the bow?

The general idea is that once the Valkyries have launched (and there are only two on Angel as Starfleet are still trialling them on various ships) the bays are clear for through use by combat medic runabouts.

Don't forget that the triage section is directly forward of (and connected to) the hangar bay which of course was originally the cargo decks on the Franklin class.

I feel overwhelmed here people! Thank you for all of the great compliments surrounding the Franklin Class. She continues to evolve over time as I want her to be perfect... After all, she is my baby!
And thank you friend, for posting the renderings and composites of the Angel. She needs some recognition across the Pond!

I love this place sometimes. The folks on my football BBS don't have nearly this much fun. ;)

Recognition you have, and well deserved. She's a beauty.

And to the author, unfortunately I've gotten stuck and am still very far behind in my Angel reading.

The good news is, however, that I leave on a cruise vacation tomorrow and expect to have plenty of time to read. I've loaded this, Broken Sword (to date) and your SF Academy stories all onto my e-reader and am looking forward to an Angel orgy ..., er reading orgy, to be clear. ;)

Okay, so I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this story immensely!!! Loved the entire concept: the Borg, the entire Chariscarpia concept, and the Omega Particle power source issue, among everything else. I would go into more detail, but I think everything has pretty well been covered by others before I joined this particular party.

Moving on to "Broken Sword" (and SF Academy) and will try to add more relevant and real time thoughts there.

Thanks for the new "addiction". ;)

    Bon jour oh fanfic afficianados.

Profuse apologies for lack of updates, but having recently recovered from a relapse of the porcine influenza I then lost both drives in my desktop and subsequently all my notes etc etc.:scream:

Things are slowly recovering (both personally and digitally) so hopefully the interruption will be short lived!

Thanks for the continuing support and wonderful messages!
