I am finally getting onto the lost era series and all so rereading the star gazer series and I wanted to read them in a certin way: Vulcan's forge ? not sure where these fit in during this time line. Vulcan's Heart ? burning dreams ? star trek lost era #1 - 2298 star trek lost era #2 - 2311 star trek terok nor #1 star trek the lost era #3 - 2328 star trek terrok nor #2 star trek the lost era #4 - 2336 star trek the lost era #5 - 2355 star trek terok nor #3 star trek the lost era #6 - 2360 star trek the next generation the valiant star trek stargazer #1 star trek stargazer #2 star trek stargazer #3 star trek stargazer #4 star trek stargazer #5 star trek stargazer #6 star trek Burried age and then onto the next generation. would the vulcan's soul trilogy be considered lost era and if so where would I fit that in?
Yes, I think it would, but I don't know where I'd put it. I do know it was a truly tedious experience that took a lot of effort to grind my way through. Good luck with it...
As far as the timeline goes it would be something like this: Vulcan's Forge (2296) Lost Era 1 (2298) Lost Era 2 (2311) Burning Dreams (2320) Terok Nor 1 (2320s) The Lost Era 3 (2328) The Valiant (2333) Stargazer (2333) The Lost Era 4 (2336) Vulcan's Heart (2344) Double Helix 6 (2350) Terok Nor 2 (2350s) The Lost Era 5 (2355) The Lost Era 6 (2360) Terok Nor 3 (2360s) The Buried Age (2363) Terok Nor 3 actually goes all the way to season 5 of TNG but it starts before The Buried Age. So do whatever you want with that.
I look forward to it my main project since I got a barnes and nobel nook is to rebuild my star trek library on it.
I don't know if you've read it (or intend to read it), but Cast No Shadow falls in 2300, between The Sundered and Serpents Among the Ruins.
The Captain's Daughter takes place in 2294. Don't know if that falls in your time period or not. Enter the Wolves is a trade paperback comic that takes place in 2327. Don't know if you want to go that route or not.

I think "Forged in Fire" is Sulu's first mission on the Excelsior, so it should go before "The Fearful Summons" (even though they give different versions of Sulu's crew) You also need "The Ashes of Eden"
The prologue and epilogue, yes. The main story, no. It takes place five months before the TOS segment in Generations.
Forged In Fire definitely comes before The Sundered. I haven't read The Fearful Summons, and in fact have heard that it's really quite awful, so I don't know where it would go in relation to that.
Forged in Fire takes place three years before Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (since it's Sulu's first mission in command of the Excelsior). The Fearful Summons takes place sometime between TUC and the Generations prologue (the same period where The Ashes of Eden occurs). The Sundered is in 2298, five years after TUC and the GEN prologue.
Are you reading in chronological order or just spreading things out in a general order? The Stargazer books would all take place together chronologically and they would definitely take place before Double Helix: The First Virtue, which takes place many years later.
