    Hello, Welcome!

We recently completed our "Timeless" Line-by-Line

After each completed thread, we're randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was JanewayRulz! And JanewayRulz! has chosen "You are Cordially Invited..." as our next Line-by-Line challenge!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes, each episode is a separate thread.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I or CoveTom, BlueStuff, Enterprise1981 or leandar, will run the randomizer to determine who will pick the next episode and get it going.

Yay! We've retaken DS9, lets see if Worf and Jadzia make good on those wedding plans!

Captain's Personal Log: Stardate 51247.5. It's been a week since our return to Deep Space Nine, but the mood of celebration continues. We're still at war and the stations been designated Headquarters for the 9th Fleet. That, plus our strategic position guarding the wormhole, makes DS9 one of the most tempting targets in the entire quadrant. But for now, at least, the war seems very far away.

On the promenade we see the continuing celebrations, Federation and Klingon flags being put up. Sisko walks happily around and gets on a turbolift.

Moments later, he arrives in Ops. Kira is at her station.

Sisko: (To passing crewmembers) Morning. Good morning. (To Kira) Morning, Major.

KIRA: USS Potemkin has completed her repairs and she'll rejoin the fleet later today. Exeter, Sutherland and Akagi have submitted resupply requests. And there are about a thousand messages from Starfleet Command awaiting your "eyes only" attention.

Sisko: No. In fact, I recommended you for the position myself. Allow me to offer my congratulations to the new Supreme Commander of the 9th Fleet.

(A fairly ridiculous sounding job title isn't it?)

MARTOK: No, I'll keep my flag aboard the Rotarran. It may be cramped, but at least I'll feel like I'm still in the war. By the way, I'd like Worf to continue functioning as my principal Intelligence Officer.
