So, with the new trailers for Into Darkness, we're getting a good look at the JJ-verse version of London, (and previously we've seen bits of Paris and San Francisco), so this month your challenge is to picture the future cities of Trek! You might choose to depict the Federation government building, supposed to be located in the Place de la Concorde in Paris, or perhaps Gene Roddenberry's favoured underground cities, or something entirely new, though whatever you pick, the design should still be recognisable as belonging to the world of Star Trek! and most importantly: have fun!
Does it have to be a city on Earth? Or would anything throughout the entire Trek universe be admitable? --Alex
well, I must admit to only really thinking of earth cities, but if you want to do something else that should be fine (I'm not too pedantic )
I actually have a video I did about a year ago depicting what I believe the 24th Century version of Charleston, South Carolina would look like. The special effects are crude, but hopefully you will get the idea of what I wanted it to look like. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca7JrK8XniQ
Neat idea. This is an old one I did, but something like this (link)? I assume San Fran' is off limits? Since we've already seen it on screen a billion or so times
No reason you can't do SF, but if you're going to do something, you need to be quick! The entries are due by the end of today!
