Spoiler: 1x06: "No Ordinary Visitors" When Stephanie’s hard-to-please parents pay an unexpected visit, the Powells must curb the use of their powers for fear of giving away their secret. But Barbara and Allan begin to suspect that something’s awry when they witness some strange behavior. Meanwhile, when friend Trent Stafford and his parents are the victims of a home invasion, Daphne uses her abilities to help Jim try to track down the thugs responsible for the violent act.

More and more I'm wanting a spin-off series where the black lawyer and lab assistant get superpowers and go off fighting crime and having fun without any angst and whining.

The in-laws were great and it was fun seeing some family dysfunction with in-laws which is something many families experience. The plot with the home invaders was also good it brought up a good moral issue of what the right thing to do was. I am really glad this show is doing well.

I also enjoyed the episode, and fun seeing how the family tried to keep their powers secret from grandma & grampa. And total WIN for J.J. winning that nice Mustang, even though it was Daph that got to drive it.

Both of the visiting parents were complete asses. I think my favorite bit of the episode was George's interaction with the officer after he got pulled over.
