http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P4IlgtwHmA What's really sad is how well the theme from "Perfect Strangers" works with Enterprise...
Wow. Enterprise wasn't cancelled afterall. It just went into hiatus for major retooling. It's never quite as good again, once they introduce a new member to the cast though. Having that blue skinned guy with the antennae, be the star in every episode. Bah! It was all about him! He just ruined everything....
That clip painfully points out just how inappropriate it was for the Killer B's to put a sappy pop song at the beginning of an epic SF adventure show---you could almost stick any cornball '70's or '80's sitcom theme on the damn thing.
Wow. I have no other words, I'm speechless in my attempt to figure out if that was amazing or disturbing. And dang, Perfect Strangers...a show I haven't thought about in a loooong time!
Pffff. It just the same opening just with a different song. Here I was hoping for a Supernatural style alt opening. This is how it's done btw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qG6V0Q59Q8
The Perfect Strangers Song worked much better than the junk they actually used. Not to mention it gives a whole different spin on the show...making it seem more optimistic and visionary. Dude, if they ever do another ST series, I'm recommending you for Music Director!
I don't know why they chose a pop song for Enterprise's opening when they had a perfectly good Guile's Theme lying around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7i-D51KpNs
