The thing about 10 year old sitcoms that were cancelled after less than 20 episodes... Is that they are not rerun, and you will never accidentally bump into them while drunk channel surfing at 3 am. I have frequently met people who LOVE Neelix, the IRL opinion of the character seems to be at odds with internet. But I have had that happen with a lot of Trek. So here's a Neelix question I've always been unsure of. Why/How did Barclay name his cat Neelix? How did he ever hear this name?
