season two begins tonight with "the moonshine war". It stars timothy olyphant . nick searcy erica tazel and jacob pitts season one was frak'n awesome and season rwo is beging to look realy good. now what I want to know is anyone else watching it and if so what do they think. currently watching season 4 of smallville and season 4 of supernatural . currently reading games of throne by george r r martin and stephen king's dark tower gunslinger.
I quite enjoyed the premiere. Good introduction to all the new players in this season, as well as touching on pretty much every existing running plotline at least a little so we knew they didn't forget. Shame about Bo Crowder. I remember an interview at the end of last season, they were thinking about having him survive the gunshot after all. Guess not. And it's still one of the funniest things on television, so that's a kindness.
Yes, I really liked it. I see that they are setting up the new baddies--the crime family. But DANG, that last scene with the moonshine was freaking brutal. But Hubby laughed out loud with the "gunfire & gasoline" gag; that was pretty good.
I have the first season on my DVD wishlist. The trailer seemed cool..and judging from the comments here it really seems like worth buying
No, really, is the OP actually Timothy Olyphant trolling for reviews? I kid, I kid. Loved last season, my favorite bit being the Hitler's paintings scene. First episode of this season is on dvr right now.
I enjoyed the first season but I have to admit that it seems like it was so long ago I was lost as to what was going on when season 2 first started. I enjoyed the episode and will continue watching.
The second season pick's up right were it leaves off which is awesome and the action is great . I would love to see soa in this but there in california . and going to prison. currently watching smallville season 4 and supernatural season 4 currently reading games of throne and stephen king's dark tower 1 gunslinger I am admitadley a bookaholic and television addict .
Oh, incidentally, during the hiatus, I read Pronto and Riding the Rap, the two Raylan Givens novels that were written before the "Fire in the Hole" short story. I hadn't realized that they'd been adapted into episodes. The backstory of Pronto was used in the "Long in the Tooth," and Riding the Rap was made into "Fixer" (and the bit at the beginning of "Riverbrook" where Raylan has to transport Dewey Crow and is short-handed so he makes Dewey drive since there'd be no one to make sure he didn't try anything if Raylan was driving). There was a lot of stuff in Pronto that hasn't been used in any episodes of the show relating to Tommy Bucks, so I assume that the unspoken backstory in the show about what exactly got Raylan pissed enough to track him down and shoot him in broad daylight is more or less the same.
never read his books did'nt know it was based after a book. how many of them are there? and, is there an order to read them?
"Pronto" comes first, then "Riding the Rap," which is a pretty direct sequel. After those is the short story "Fire in the Hole" and is more or less the same as the first episode of "Justified." They're all by Elmore Leonard who, I've just googled, is writing a new Raylan Givens novel which is apparently being cross-pollanated with the first few episodes of the new season.
very cool I will look for them on my nook . thank you very much . I wont send the soa after you . ha ha ha .
Tonight episode * spoiler * " the life inside " It looks like this one will have some humor in it dealing with a pregnant criminal flee's from authorities . also deals with human traffickers. also, I found two of the books my nook.
^^ that's exactly what I was wondering and why I started to rewatch the first season! Why the hell did she say Raylan and Boyd were both her boyfriends?
So, Ava is with Boyd now? Or did she just agreed to help him out? The fighting between "Dad" and his wife is hilarious. "You can't throw him out; he's under house arrest!"
She did seem to have softened a bit towards him in the finale when they were all hunkered down in that shack with the Miami Gun Thugs coming after them.
10 episodes left and it is just starting it's I love his father he's hillarious . I would love to see michael chiklis guest star on it .
