I like the new Magneto costume.

 

Me too.

 

I expected more of a dress suit like what Prime Magneto wore (too soon?) than armor. Like a bullet would harm Magneto.

 

And there are non-magnetic materials that can be made into bullets.

 

Though I think he could block normal bullets with his eyes closed, a plastic bullet could kill if it hits the right place.

 

"I'm not wearing hockey pads!"

It appears Daniel Cudmore (who plays Colossus) is being brought back to Montreal given his Twitter page so it is safe to assume Singer and company are reshooting some of the post-apocalyptic sequences.

 

I just checked, Hallie Berry had her baby at the beginning of October. Her role was reduced due to the pregnancy. It would make sense that she would be involved in these reshoots.

 

The shoot of Cudmore running from a fireball was also imcomplete in the trailer.





You'd think they would have been more complete when time came to debut a trailer

Instead we get a comic con trailer with "Sunshine" music attached

 

Singer said the VFX work wasn't ready which makes sense. The time it must take to assemble the Sentinel/post-apocalyptic footage probably takes a while. I'm sure we'll have a much more ready/complete trailer around March.

It does make sense for Halle Berry to be involved in those reshoots and I hope she is. I am actually glad they are doing these reshoots because I'm sure there's a lot of demand/anticipation for the futuristic elements of the story. So I'm glad Singer and company are making sure they are as good as they can be.

 

On Twitter, Bryan Singer addressed the re-shooting rumors. He said they are actually doing pick-ups, not re-shoots.

 

Hugh Jackman may not have Wolverine's healing factor, but thankfully he has a wife that insisted he go to the doctor.

 

Wow, good thing he listened to his wife.

I'm really glad they've decided to run with the magic bullet idea. It just makes so much sense to pair Magneto with that incident. However, after going through that entire site and reading the in-depth article, it's clear that things may not be as straightforward as they seem. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this plays into the plot of the movie.
