I just wish I could see the movie! After the new trailer thats it. No more spoilers for me.
It has some new stuff in it but I wouldn't say it really spoils anything more for those who have seen the previous trailers. It's not a very good tv spot, they could have done better.
Yeah its an awful ad and yes not huge spoilers but I have still seen more precious seconds of the film
Carol Marcus has a British accent. Kirk has a reputation. Someone may or may not come with Kirk. Other than that, I'm not sure what new 'spoilers' there are in that spot.
I dont think it talkes away from the movie but in this timeline marcus must have grown up in england.
Maybe she pulled a Mel Gibson later in life, and decided she was more employable with an American accent.

Kirk asking Harrison "Are you coming with me?" is interesting - if the soundbite is actually from that scene. Better to have Carol Marcus talking in a British accent than the actress force a bad fake American one.
Well according to Star Trek Patrick Stewart is the ultimate French man... so where accents are concerned Trek is not concerned about accents
