Hello, What are your favourite bridge/control center designs and starship/space station interiors ? Personally, I prefer those of the 1701-D. The bridge is iconic to me, and the interiors, including engineering, look very comfy (it not entirely realistic). So: Bridge: 1701-D (Generations) Engineering: 1701-D General Interiors: Still 1701-D But I will give honorable mentions to TWOK's military-looking bridge and TMP's super-cool warp core.
Lots of really cool bridges. The Enterprise A from TUC and the Excelsior from TUC stand out to me, as does from Generations the Enterprise B and D. The Enterprise E, the Defiant, and Voyager also have pretty nice bridges.
I'd have to say DS9. Just so different from all the straight lines and dull greys of Starfleet. The more organic shapes, designs and moodier lighting just helped set the scene and separate the series from everything else.
I liked the Ent-D bridge in Generations. Was the familiar TNG bridge but bridge-ier, with more workstations and crew, more like a command station of a massive space vessel.
1701-D across the board, with DS9 and the original 1701 tied for second. The refit 1701 and 1701-A interiors were really beautiful as well, but they had a sort of (understandably) unfinished quality to them. Voyager, 1701-E, and the NX-01 were just dull, grey, and lacked character. And those thin metal rails on Voyager looked like they were just waiting to seriously injure someone.
I like the bridge from TOS - I found it to be more intimate than it's followers. Again, I like the TOS interiors, corridors and other rooms - including main engineering. However, I must tip the hat to the TMP's warp core.
I prefer the bridge from Voyager. The only problem was the command chairs. It's not clear which is the captain's; it ought to be clear where the Captain sit.
Funny thing about the 60s design for Trek: in a few years, maybe they'll look futuristic again (except the buttons) because of fashion changes.
I love Voyager's bridge. It's the perfect mix of refit-Enterprise functionality with Enterprise-D style. It's not as utilitarian as Defiant. And the lighting is the best of any of them.

I like the 1701 (TOS version) and 1701-D interiors for not looking like anything else on TV. People tend to criticize them, particularly the 1701-D, for "not looking realistic", or for their brighter color schemes, or whatever. But I think that's what makes them unique. It's the same as the difference between Old TARDIS and New TARDIS. The old one was an overbright plastiky-looking set, but it was iconic. It stood out. I like that about the 1701 and 1701-D bridges too. The interiors of the 1701-E or Voyager are dark, bland, almost generic science fiction spaceship sets by comparison. They're "more realistic", but they aren't nearly as cool looking IMO. Having said all that, in terms of being realistic in the 24th century, I reckon Defiant's bridge was the one which felt the most like I'd imagine a true Starship in a true space navy being. Ward-rooms with cramped bunks, a compact-but-fully-functional bridge that was kinda like something you'd see in a submarine... Enterprise took it further, but its clear a lot of thought went into the kind of ship Defiant is.

Of course, it would have been nice for the captain to have a window.
Only ever saw 4 episodes of Voyager, but the ship's bridge looked kind of cool. Seemed less under-populated than the Enterprise bridge on TNG often felt, and made more sense that the main workstations like Tactical were larger than their TNG counterparts.

I had to think if I were stationed on the ship, which one I would want to actually be on. Now I was shocked to find that for the most part, I kept going back to mostly the same 4 ships. I was further shocked to find that, while I found Voyager to be a little boring externally, I actually liked a lot of its sets.
I do have some favourite Starfleet designs as well, so I might as well rank them too. Bridge - Enterprise-D (Generations-style) Shame it didn't always look like that. Cockpit - Runabout Just love that little ship. Conference Room - Enterprise-E I like their little ships. Engineering - Voyager Actually looks like a proper engineering space, lots of consoles and space stuff everywhere. Lounge/Mess Hall - Defiant Practical and neat, without the need for a really annoying cook. Quarters - Voyager Actually pretty decent sized rooms given the size of the ship. Ready Room - Enterprise-D A cosy little office for the Captain, not like the massive room Janeway had. Science Lab - Stellar Cartography (Enterprise-D) Such a cool room and idea, shame we only saw it once. Sickbay - Enterprise (TWOK-style) A proper large medical ward that can handle more than just a handful of patients at a time. Transporter Room - Enterprise-A (TUC-style) A good sized room for meeting the Klingon Chancellor, plus I like how the operator sits in their own little booth.
If they want realistic, they can watch documentaries. Interesting. Personally, I like the one from 1701-D best, I think, but I like the Reboot one quite a bit, too.
