I think it was the combo of both...the shortness and that colour all at one time was too much for me. I was numb for about 2 days. Just kept staring at the pictures as they came in and muttering, "No! No! Your beautiful hair." Then, as she talked and moved about...the hair just kinda "fit her". Brazen and shocking. Now, I love it. Sometimes it morphs when it shouldn't but for the most part it looks good on her.
