a problem with Barclay, he can't figure

 

out why his crew-mates are about to

 

thrash him for interrupting their feed."

didn't like the idea of reprimanding someone

 

for protecting the ship so he instead

 

focused on the mission ahead. Few knew

 

why the Enterprise was on course to

 

the Cardassian border. Several weeks earlier, intelligence

 

picked up a lightning storm in space

 

. It sounded normal until further sensor readings

 

picked up a ship exiting.

"Is that

 

ship in distress, Mr, Worf?" asked Picard.

 

"Sensors are picking up Romulans... It's Tomalak."
