I was thinking of this thread this afternoon while I was out shovelling snow. We're in the middle of our first winter storm of the season and we're due to get around 10 - 15 cm of snow by the time it finishes. Further south and further west from us, they're getting 20 - 25. When the storm was in America it was dropping metres of snow on cities. Saskatoon seems sheltered from the worst of the weather that hits the rest of the province. We're too far north for the worst of the storms from the south, and we're too far south for the worst of the storms from the north. I think the first mayor of Saskatoon did a deal with someone.
