Yup, same thing. Just like our US politics, people who bashed Pres. Bush are praising Pres Obama for the same things, and folks who praised Pres. Bush for those things are now bashing Pres. Obama for them.
Ah right. She worked well with Tennant. But Smith's too young for her. She's what, in her late thirties at the very earliest, and Smith is about 29 or something by now. I like the casting of Smith and Coleman, but I hated Karen as Amy. Loud annoying Scots woman. She's not very attractive either. So fine Donna wasn't very attractive either, even less attractive, but she had a fantastic funny character which more than made up for it. But Gillian is both not very attractive and is an annoying and boring character. Her and Rory were bearable in series 5, they should have left in series 5 or early series 6. That's when they got annoying.
You showed up at my doorstep with a new suit and a haircut....." Anyways. He's left to star in Ryan goslings directorial debut. He'll be gone for 3 months. He won't be back till August or September. By that time the Christmas special should start filming. After that we should have an idea on whether Matt sees Hollywood in his future or another season of Doctor Who
A somewhat ironic topic, given that Alex Kingston's ex-husband, Ralph Fiennes, famously left her for a much older woman (Francesca Annis). Personally, I think she's as sexy now as she was 20 years ago.
Well yes it is, but they're both adults, so does it matter? Exactly, it's a double standard. Once you're an adult, age is but a number.
Yea, but, that would be because he would be too old to play the Doctor in NuWho [/drumroll] And, as Konata Izumi points out, The Doctor is way older than River (probably... Timey-Wimey)
50? She's good for her age. But still, it's more about mental age in some ways too. Smith can be very immature while River isn't very immature. Personally, I just think the two don't quite work together. Out of the revival series doctor, Smith would have been my last choice to put River with.
Cumberbatach should have been the 11th doctor. Moffat wouldn't be able to resist making a Sherlock/Irene Adler type relationship for the 11th and River. FYI. This is if Cumberbatch never took the role of Sherlock. Well there's no doubt about it. Smith is away and has shaved his hair. For Christmas filming it will either be a wig or really short hair which could work for River's final scenes "You showed up at my doorstep with a new suit and a haircut." Rumor is floating that now Smith will leave on New Years day.
Yuck. I'd hate a Cumberbatch Doctor. I don't think he'd be right for the role, Smith is far superior. Plus if Cumberbatch was the 11th Doctor, chances are he'd have left by now or be leaving soon seeing he's having a big Hollywood success. He could work as the Master though, I think he'd be a great adversary for Smith.
It doesn't. I was just trying (and failing, I guess) to be tongue and cheek. Depends on how fast his hair grows. Though, I assuming he's shaved it for his movie role, he will have to keep it consistently short, and I suppose by the time he returns to the UK there might not be enough time for his hair to grow. And is it me, or does Smith remind anyone else of Eccleston in those pictures?
Yea, I saw the pictures before I saw what was written about them, and at first glance I thought it was Eccelston, and assumed someone was posting "evidence" that Eccelston is in the Anniv Special afterall, LOL
