^I've just come home from the record-shop - They didn't have the x-mas album of my childhood not even as second hand (and it has of course never been released on compact disc). Apparently I'll have to find it on-line.
The Hobbit paperback. I was going to read it years ago, bought the book, never got around to reading it and then lost it a few years ago. Now that the movie's out I'm finally going to read it after I finish my current book.
My Buddy Christ statuette arrived yesterday and is currently giving me the "thumbs-up" from across my desk. Very inspiring.
I got this at Think Geek dot com: It's awesome. It has the old school Cylon sound and you can change the color of the eye from blue to red.
That IS awesome! And Christmasy, too. I picked up a hoodie and a Doctor Who collector's tin for the nephew and some creepy religious books for crazy-ass sister-in-law. Everything on her Amazon list revolves around her freaky little cult-like religion. But that was what she wanted, so that's what I bought.
My new watch arrived today. Love that funky 70s styling. It's like something they'd wear on Space 1999. Ordinarily, it would have been way out of my price range. But that 62 per cent discount put it within reach.
^That does look retro-futuristic. My watches are much more mundane but that probably has to do with the fact that they cost around $20.
Battlestar Galactica: Downloaded: Inside the Universe of the critically acclaimed TV series, and a bottle of acidophilus.
Picked up more candy for the party on Saturday, plus a small cheese tray from the grocery store, a 12 pack of Diet Dr. Pepper for me (and anyone else) and more tags for Christmas presents.
