^ The upside of the Canucks vs. Sharks series is that at least one of us will be happy after round 1. ;)

That is true. This is flourished into a great rivalry (I would say even better than Sharks/Ducks) and I can't wait to see this series go long. The only non-biased reason I'm picking the Sharks is because I trust Niemi more than I trust Schnider or Luongo. It's going to be a battle of the goaltenders, as the playoffs typically are.

I'm really hoping the Leafs can get by the Bruins, but I'm not optimistic.

I see nobody is picking the Wild to beat Chicago: No surprise there. I'm glad the Wild made the playoffs, but considering all the money they spent, I expected better than the #8 seed.

I kind of expect the wild to really be an under the radar 5th seed next year. Yeah they spent all that money to get Suter and Parise, but there was also a lockout and no training camp. Give them a full season and I expect them to be very much improved next year.

I'm going for my Hawks to win it all!!

And Game 1 against the Wild was good (what I saw of it due to the time difference) and I give massive respect to Goaltender Harding of the Wild to play like he did that night after being thrown in at the last minute and also have MS.

Wow. Eller just got smoked. Blood on the ice and they took him off on a stretcher. Hope he's ok.

    Dirty hit or no?

All the angles I saw it looked like the elbow stayed in, he didn't leave his feet...

It looked like a clean hit to me and virtually every hockey analyst on TV, including Kerry Fraser, yet the league still suspended him two games.

Hopefully the Leafs will decide to not play like a Peewee squad against the Bruins tonight in Game 2. That was a painful game to watch on Wednesday.

If I'm Eller, I'm pretty pissed at the guy just tossed me the puck where I had no where to go with it but down.

That's penalizing the result instead of the hit/ intent and that's just stupid. But with all that blood pouring on to the ice, you knew there would be a suspension out of it.

Well that was quite the tilt in Ottawa tonight. 236 penalty minutes.
